Paperless Studio is designed as an offline-first PDF toolkit. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect personal identifying information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) directly on our servers.
2. Permissions and Data Handling
To provide our services, the app requires the following permissions:
Camera: Used exclusively for the Document Scanner feature. Images captured by the camera are processed locally on your device to create PDF documents. We do not upload your camera feed or captured images to any external servers.
Storage (Read/Write): Used to select PDF files/images from your device for processing and to save the final documents back to your storage.
Media Access: Required on newer Android versions to pick images for Image-to-PDF conversion.
3. Processing
All PDF operations (Merging, Splitting, Compression, OCR/Text Recognition, etc.) are performed locally on your device. Your documents never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to share them via the "Share" feature.
4. Advertising (Third-Party Services)
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the app. These third-party services may collect data used to identify your device for the purpose of serving relevant ads.
Google Play Services / AdMob: May collect your advertising ID, device identifiers, and usage data.

5. Data Security
We prioritize the security of your files by ensuring all processing happens locally. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our app does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
